Actually the incestuous romance between Padmavati and her son was not unknown to Daya as Sundar informed all the proceedings. Hearing this and at the same time noticing her mother’s happiness again, Daya became pleased very much. So she fixed an auspicious day for their marriage. That day after completing the bath in the sacred “Ganga”, Daya helped her mother in her dressing. After one hour Padmavati was changed totally as a young bride, with full of garlands, ornaments and a red Benarasi with matching blouse.
Sundar also prepared himself as a groom, then they entered the holg Worshiproom where in front of God, Sundar put Sindoor ( Vermilion ) on his mother’s Sinthi ( Hair-parting ) and touched her mother’s feet.
“As a mother, give me your blessings so that I can fulfill my wife’s dream and keep her happy whole life”, Sundar prayed to his mother. Padmavati blessed her son by touching his head as a mother. But next moment realising her 2nd husband’s true love towards her, as a wife she touched her son-husband’s feet.
Next Sundar tied a “Mangal-sutra” around his mother-wife’s neck. Having a young husband in this age, Padmavati’s heart filled with joy and moistened her eyes with great emotion. Sundar’s eyes also filled with tears in happiness and embraced his new wife-mother, kissed her passionately.
Daya was video-graphing this great marriage with tearful eyes. At last unable to control herself, she touched her mother and step-dad’s feet, embraced them and kissed their lip-lock mouth.
“Now you are official husband-wife” separating herself after sometime, Daya declared.
After that they flew to Mauritius for their honeymoon. Seven month’s later, at 56 yrs old, Padmavati delivered a beautiful baby girl, a sister-daughter to her son- husband Sundar.
